Volunteer.
Born near Gimli, her family later moved to Arnes, where she taught after completing normal school training. After marriage to J. B. Skaptason, she lived in Selkirk, and later Winnipeg. She organized the Jon Sigurdson Chapter of the IODE, and was an active member of the Western Canada Alliance of Unitarian Women. She died in Winnipeg.
