Memorable Manitobans: Isobel Graham Finlayson Simpson (1811-1890)Memoirist. Born in London, she was “amiable & accomplished”, and was successfully wooed by Duncan Finlayson in 1838. She joined her husband in Rupert’s Land in 1840, keeping a journal of the journey. She moved to Lachine in 1844. She died in London, England. More information:
