Memorable Manitobans: Germaine Sicotte (1904-?)Educator. Born in Manitoba in August 1904, one of 15 children of August Sicotte (1881-1970) and Celina Larouche (1883-1965), she grew up at St. Pierre. She and her sister Cora Sicotte (1908-1996, later wife of Charles Prudhomme) taught at Vermette School, with herself as Principal from 1932-1937. Her whereabouts after this period are unknown.
