Memorable Manitobans: Edward “Eddie” Shindleman (1920-1998)
Community activist.
Born at Winnipeg on 4 June 1920, son of Sarah Galsky, he married Claire Abells (?-2019) and they moved to Portage la Prairie where they had three sons. He died on 19 September 1998 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
