Memorable Manitobans: Robert T. C. Sharpe (1881-?)
Farmer.
Born at New York, New York on 31 July 1881, son of Joseph Sharpe and Jessie Thom, he came to Manitoba with his family in 1883. He worked on the family farm until he was 18 when he bought a farm of his own. On 27 December 1908, he married Josie M. Harvey of Outlook, Saskatchewan, daughter of Frederick and Rosa Harvey. They had one son, Robert Harvey Sharpe. He was a brother-in-law to J. R. Borthistle.
