Memorable Manitobans: Robert Thompson Robertson (1864-?)Farmer and Stockman. Born at Lanark, Ontario on 31 May 1864, he came to Manitoba in 1880 where he homesteaded and eventually farmed 1120 acres, and bred Shorthorn cattled. On 5 January 1889, he married Fanny E. Cobbledick. They had three sons and two daughters. He was a member of the Congregationalist (lated United) Church. In 1925, he lived at Snowflake, Manitoba.
