Memorable Manitobans: George Reginald Provost (1936-2002)

Municipal official.

Born at Harris, Saskatchewan on 11 August 1936 he had a diverse business career, served as an Alderman with the City of St. Boniface and also as a Councillor for the City of Winnipeg. He was a founding member of the St. Bernadette Men’s Club and had a life membership in the Knights of Columbus. He died at Winnipeg on 17 July 2002 and was buried in Green Acres.
