Born at Whitney, England, 8 April 1861. Came to Canada with his parents in 1879, (Thedford, Ontario). Came to Manitoba in May 1879. Son of Jason and Sarah Oliver. Married Christens McLeod, 1887. Has three sons and eight daughters. Member of the Methodist Church for many years. Address, Manitou, Manitoba.
