Memorable Manitobans: W. G. Muir (1890-?)
Insurance executive.
Born at Paisley, Ontario, 24 August 1890. Married Mary Edna Muir, 1914, (deceased); secondly Mary E. Payne in 1924. Has one son. Was educated at Paisley Public and High School. Entered the service of the New York Life Company, 1915, Calgary, Alberta. Came to Winnipeg in 1922 as Agency Director of the New York Life Insurance Company. Member of the Canadian Club. Address, 35 Rothesay Apartments, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
