Harold J. Mobberley (c1912-1989)

Born at Dudley, West Midlands, England, he emigrated to Canada in 1919 and settled at Winnipeg. In 1938 he moved to Dauphin and opened an automotive electronics business known as Kemp & Mobberley. He served as Mayor of Dauphin from 1959 to 1964, and President of the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipalities in 1962 and 1963. He died suddenly at Dauphin on 21 February 1989.
