Memorable Manitobans: Connie Shamanski McSweeney (1935-1999)

Social activist.

Born at Dauphin, Manitoba on 25 May 1935, she married in 1955 and moved to Winnipeg where she was a mother and homemaker. She was a co-founder of the Manitoba Society for Tourette Syndrome. She died at Steinbach, Manitoba on 3 January 1999
