Memorable Manitobans: Cyrus McBean (1848-1918)

Building contractor.

Born on 18 October 1848, he came to Winnipeg in 1885 and worked as a building contractor. He was a founding member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church. He died at his Winnipeg home, 82 St. Cross Street on 10 March 1918 and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery.
