Memorable Manitobans: Mary Christina Knisley (1879-?)

Born in Mount Forest, Ontario, 29 November 1879. Came to Manitoba in 1901. Married in that year to Joseph Knisley and took up home on Section 3-14-9., near Darlingford, Manitoba, Mr. Knisley was drowned in an accident in 1920. Mrs. Knisley has carried on the family operations since and lives in Darlingford, Manitoba. Has two sons and a daughter. An active Red Cross worker. Takes a keen interest in church work. One of the Managing Board of the Presbyterian (Union) Church. Member of the Ladies Missionary Society for many years. Address, Darlingford, Manitoba.
