Physician, farmer, municipal official.
Born at Regina, Saskatchewan on 23 April 1923, son of Edith and Les Knight, he moved with his family to Souris in 1925. After graduating with a medical degree from the Manitoba Medical School, he returned to Souris and practiced medicine for 53 years. He was active in building of the Souris Medical Centre with Ralph Lee Whitfield. He also operated a livestock feed lot and grain farm. He served as Chairman of the Souris Valley School Division and Mayor of Souris (1966-1969, 1976-1978). He died at Souris on 5 July 2016.
