Memorable Manitobans: Henny Jurriens (1949-1989)Dancer. Born at Arnheim, Netherlands in 1949, he joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in 1986 as a principal dancer. He was noted for his artistry and the range of his repertoire. He retired from the stage in 1988 to succeed Arnold Spohr as RWB artistic director.
