Memorable Manitobans: Robert Jordan (1856-1944)

Farmer.

Born near Ottawa, Carleton County on 18 April 1856, he came to Manitoba in 1878 and worked on construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway before homesteading near Manitou. He was a member of the Anglican Church. He died at Manitou on 16 October 1944 and was buried in the Darlingford Cemetery.
