Memorable Manitobans: John Joseph Janz (1910-1972)

Conservationist.

During the Second World War, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. On 31 July 1943, he married Olive Margaret Stockden of Souris. They had a son, Raymond Janz. He was killed on 24 May 1972 in a traffic accident between the school bus he was driving and a truck.
