Memorable Manitobans: Andrew Henderson (1914-1990)
Farmer, veterinarian, municipal official.
Born at Whitemouth on 10 January 1914, son of Edward Henderson and Elizabeth Cooke, he farmed and did veterinary work with his father. He served as Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Whitemouth (1971-1983). On 29 November 1938, he married Bertha Emmaline and they had four children. He died at Whitemouth on 4 August 1990 and was buried in the Whitemouth Cemetery.
