Historian.
Born on a farm in the RM of Odanah on 11 October 1903, eldest of four children of George Hubert Harland (1868-1955) and Agnes Scott (1875-1959), he wrote The Rookhurst Story (c1970), They Called It Odanah (1972), and Minnedosa and Her Neighbours (1973). He died in 1986 and was buried in the Minnedosa Cemetery.
