Memorable Manitobans: George A. M. Hamilton (1901-1976)Soldier, theatrical producer. Born in Belfast, Ireland, he came to Canada in 1912. He served with the Winnipeg Rifles (90th Infantry Battalion) in World War One. For 50 years he produced grandstand shows for western Canadian fairs and exhibitions.
