Memorable Manitobans: Fredrick Harvey Glazerman (1943-2000)

Entrepreneur.

Born at Winnipeg on 1 June 1943, his entrepreneurial spirit led him into a variety of business ventures which included selling advertising at CKY radio, operating night clubs and restaurants, and publishing Winnipeg Homes. During the 1960s and 1970s, he brought big-name rock concerts to Winnipeg, including The Rolling Stones and the Bee Gees. He died of cancer on 4 April 2000.
