Memorable Manitobans: Samuel Foulds (c1803-1870)

Pioneer.

Father of Thomas Foulds and Sarah Foulds Camsell, he owned the land in Winnipeg from the Assiniboine River to Notre Dame Avenue and drove a Red River cart from Winnipeg to Edmonton with provisions for the Hudson’s Bay Company.
