Memorable Manitobans: George Washington Ford (1867-?)Carpenter, architect. Born in Ontario in August 1867, he worked as a carpenter and building contractor in Winnipeg in the early 20th century. He and wife Margaret Cole had a daughter, Catharine Nancy Ford (b 1909). He lived at 110 Home Street. Some of his architectural works in Manitoba included:
