Memorable Manitobans: Norman John Didur (c1934-2003)

Business executive.

Born around 1934, son of John Didur and Pauline Dzumaga, during the Korean War he served three years with the Royal Canadian Navy. He worked in the Canadian natural gas industry and attained executive positions in national associations, including Chairman of the Canadian Gas Association. He was a gardener, fly fisherman, and wood worker. He died in British Columbia, aged 69, on 11 February 2003.
