Memorable Manitobans: James Eric “Jim” Dexter (c1947-2018)Agricultural chemist. He completed a PhD in cereal chemistry at the University of Manitoba then he worked for the Canadian Grain Commission for 34 years, directing the Grain Research Laboratory’s Milling Research Unit. He served as President of the American Association of Cereal Chemistry International. He received the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002). He died at Winnipeg on 21 March 2018.
