Lawyer, MLA (1977-1981), MLA (1981-1986), judge.

Born on 4 July 1945, he served on the Winnipeg city council (1974-1977) before being elected as a New Democrat in the 1977 provincial general election. Re-elected in 1981, he was not a candidate in the 1986 general election. Made a Queen's Counsel in 1984, he was appointed a provincial court judge in March 1988. In recognition of his community service, he received a Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Medal (1977) and a Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal (2002).
