Memorable Manitobans: John William Cook (1853-1935)

Farmer.

Born at Antrim, Ontario, 24 February 1853, he came to Manitoba in 1888, settling at Manitou. He married Elizabeth Jones, with whom he had five sons and four daughters. He served as a school trustee for many years.

He died on 30 July 1935.
