Merchant, municipal official.

Born in Ontario on 12 May 1868, he served as Reeve and later Secretary-Treasurer of the Rural Municipality of Blanshard and, from 1907 to 1908, President of the Union of Manitoba Municipalities. He died at Hamiota on 15 January 1939 and was buried in the Oak River Cemetery.
