Memorable Manitobans: John Leslie Clubine (1886-1970)
Municipal official.
Born on 23 December 1886, he resided in Morden for 79 years and served in a variety of roles in the community, including two terms as Mayor of Morden. He was an honorary life member of the Morden Chamber of Commerce and the Morden Curling Club and a President of the Morden Golf Club. He died at Morden on 11 January 1970 and was buried in the Hillside Cemetery.
