Born at Hadashville on 17 April 1910, as a child his family moved to Winnipeg. He began his working career as a stockboy with Paulin Chambers Company (Weston Corporation). He retired 40 years later as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. He was an active member of the Lion’s Club, Rotary Club, and Knights of Columbus (Fourth Degree Status). He died in British Columbia on 25 September 2006.
