Memorable Manitobans: Isaac Chaliff (1861-1940)

Merchant.

He came to Winnipeg in 1882 where he worked as a merchant until his retirement in 1940. One of the founders of the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, he died at Killarney, Manitoba on 31 August 1940 and was buried in the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.
