Memorable Manitobans: William Henry Cassop (1874-1949)

Cleric.

Born in England, he came to Winnipeg in 1884, was ordained an Anglican priest in 1910, and served parishes in Brandon and Edmonton. He was rector of a church in the Channel Islands during the Nazi occupation of World War Two. He wrote Winnipeg to London via Hudson Bay (1936).
