In 2022, the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association voted to unanimously merge all three existing categories into the Canadian Fiddle Hall of Honour. All previous recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award, the Award of Merit, and the Canadian Fiddle Legends Award have automatically been inducted to the Canadian Fiddle Hall of Honour.
