Memorable Manitobans: Roderick William Bushie (1952-2013)

Aboriginal leader.

Born at Hollow Water, Manitoba on 19 December 1952, he was a Band Councillor of his reserve for four years and Chief for 18 years. He was Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs for three years. He died at Selkirk on 14 June 2013.
