Memorable Manitobans: Christine Mary “Chris” Burrows (1940-2019)

Community activist.

Born on 7 August 2910, she was the spouse of community activist Sel Burrows. She co-founded with him the Point Powerline community watch program. She died at Winnipeg on 11 November 2019. She was selected posthumously as a Manitoba Women Trailblazer.
