Business executive.
Born at Saratev, Russia on 8 December 1901, he came to Winnipeg with his parents in 1902.
In 1919, he and his father established a construction company and, in 1936, he became President of Henry Borger and Sons Limited. At the time of his death he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Borger Industries Limited, a Winnipeg-based business specializing in heavy construction and land development across western Canada.
On 29 July 1922, he married Barbara Leibrock (1900-1999) at Winnipeg and they had a daughter and five sons, including Alan Andrew Borger. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
He died on 10 January 1976 and was buried in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
