Memorable Manitobans: Eva Bonkowski (c1920-2016)

Educator.

Born at Ledwyn around 1920, her long teaching career including service at Carlowrie School, Happy Thought School (1945-1947), and Roseisle School (1947-1949) before moving to Winnipeg where she taught at several elementary schools, retiring in 1981 from Kent Road School. She died unmarried at Arborg on 13 April 2016.
