Memorable Manitobans: Burton William Bolton (1869-?)

Real estate, insurance, financial agent.

He was born at Weston, Ontario on 22 May 1869, son of Isaac Bolton and Mary Jane Chapman, he arrived with his family in Manitoba in 1879, taking up residence in the Neepawa district. He was educated locally, at Manitoba College in Winnipeg and the University of Toronto. In 1896, he opened his business in Neepawa. He married Madge Muirhead in 1893, and they had a daughter, Dorothy Bolton. He was a member of AF & AM.
