Pharmacist.
Born in England in 1905, son of Arthur Andrews (c1884-?) and Elsie May Andrews (c1884-?), he came to Canada with his family in 1920 and lived in Winnipeg to the end of his life. He received a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Manitoba. During the Second World War, he served in the Royal Canadian Navy.
He operated a pharmacy in the St. James area of Winnipeg and prior to retirement he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Jack Andrews Kirkfield Pharmacy Limited. He served as President of the Canadian Pharmaceutical Association.
On 2 October 1937, he married nurse Kathleen Faye Rowntree (?-1970) at Winnipeg and they subsequently had a daughter and two sons. The family lived at 216 Bruce Avenue (circa 1957) and 105 Athlone Drive (circa 1976). He was a member of the Manitoba Diabetic Association, St. James Kiwanis Club, and Royal Canadian Legion. He died at the Grace Hospital on 4 April 1976.
