Manitoba Organization: Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club

Link to:
Presidents | Sources

In 1909, the Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club was established by a group of the city’s business and professional men as a private venue for sports, business, and social networking. Located initially at 79 Donald Street, the club moved to its present building at 275 Stradbrook Avenue in 1958. The facility features a doubles and four singles North American style courts, fitness facility, 150-seat banquet room, 50-seat cocktail lounge, and 30-seat dining room for members and their guests. A lounge on the lower level, adjacent to the locker room, is named for former President Jack Hopwood.
