This site at SW32-6-2W in the Rural Municipality of Morris is believed to be the approximate location of Waddell School. Established formally in January 1898, a one-room frame building was erected at the site. The district was dissolved in 1909 and the school closed in 1910, after which local students went to Sperling School No. 1488. The former school building was moved to Sperling.

Among the teachers who worked at Waddell School were Samuel Hunter Adams (1898-1901), Miss A. Stevenson, Miss Nellie Young, Miss MacLean, Miss Marion McDonald, Mr. McMillan, Mr. McLeod, Miss Hurd, Miss Waye, Miss Isobel Wilson, Miss N. Stevenson, Mr. Hoskins, and Miss Smith.
