Historic Sites of Manitoba: Canadian National Railway Bridge (Saskatchewan River, The Pas)

Construction of this steel truss bridge over the Saskatchewan River at The Pas was constructed starting in 1910 for the Canadian Northern Railway, as part of the Hudson Bay Railway. Its centre section was designed to pivot to allow ships on the river to pass.
