Historic Sites of Manitoba: Star Cafe Building (447 Seventh Avenue South, Virden)

In 1882, with the establishment of a Canadian Pacific Railway station and post office, the town of Virden began to take shape. While this two-storey brick building's exact date of construction is unknown, many the buildings on Seventh Avenue date from the 1890s to 1900s.
