Historic Sites of Manitoba: Murdock Bakery Building (445 Seventh Avenue South, Virden)

This brick-fronted two-storey building on Seventh Avenue in Virden was most likely constructed in the 1890s. While this building is part of a block, being attached to a second similar building and sharing a roofline, they are distinct in that their windows do not align. There is a basement which once served as commercial space, and an apartment unit on the top level. It has long been used as a bakery.
