Historic Sites of Manitoba: Shamrock School No. 876 (Municipality of Prairie View)A metal sign marks the former site of Shamrock School in what is now the Municipality of Prairie View. Established formally in March 1896, a school building was erected later that year. It closed in May 1912 and the remaining students went to Isabella School No. 1333 or Beulah Consolidated School No. 162. The former school building was moved to Beulah where it became part of the Beulah School. The name Shamrock was reused for another school in the Interlake area of Manitoba.
