This 1¾-storey wood frame, and wood plank and shingle siding, Dutch Colonial Revival-style house was at the southwest corner of Inkster Boulevard and St. Cross Street in Winnipeg. Measuring 20 feet by 30 feet, and 10 feet by 10 feet, it was built in 1911 by owner/contractor Thomas Liggett at a cost of about $2,000. He sold it to John McBeth (1882-1967), a conductor at the Winnipeg Electric Railway Company and Margarett K. McBeth (1889-1938), a teacher at Norquay School.
The house has since been demolished and the site is now occupied by the Luxton Community Centre outdoor hockey rink.
