Historic Sites of Manitoba: Gusberti House (289 Inkster Boulevard, Winnipeg)

This one-storey wood frame and stucco, Arts and Crafts-style house is at the northwest corner of Inkster Boulevard and Aikins Street in Winnipeg. Measuring 28 feet by 30 feet, it was built in 1925 by owner/contractor Moses Dorfman at a cost of about $4,000. He sold it to Julius C. “Gus” Gusberti (c1889-1971), the maitre d' at the Royal Alexandra Hotel from 1923 to 1949.

At the time of a 2026 site visit, the house was relatively unmodified from its original appearance.
