Historic Sites of Manitoba: Fisherton Cemetery (Fisherton, RM of Fisher)

This small cemetery in the Rural Municipality of Fisher was established in 1910, on land donated by George Hyde. Its first burial was Mrs. Phillip Thomas, on 10 October 1910. Plaques in the cemetery commemorate military personnel from the Fisherton area killed during the First World War and Second World War, and the 100th anniversary of the cemetery. Across the road is St. John’s Anglican Church.
