Historic Sites of Manitoba: Emmanuel Lutheran Church (360 McKenzie Street, Winnipeg)

This former Lutheran church on McKenzie Street in Winnipeg was designed and built in 1913 by contractor Martin Hehn. The steeple and cupola where ripped off the building in a devastating windstorm on 17 June 1919. A parish hall was built at its south end in 1950. The building was renovated in 1986 to be converted into residential space.
