Historic Sites of Manitoba: Ella Apartments (568 Agnes Street, Winnipeg)

This three-storey brick block on Agnes Street in Winnipeg was constructed in 1929 by owner Halldor Johannesson at a cost of about $35,000. The 40 foot by 71 foot structure contained 11 apartments in its original configuration. The building was named Ella Apartments after a daughter of the builder.
